Making some spring samples
Today I made some spring samples. First I wound some 12″ springs on a drill out of 0.24 music wire. Then I grabbed one of my magnetic transducers, and connected it to the computer. Then I played the spring. This note is a C in octave 1 41 cents sharp. I’ll tune it in Csound before using it in a piece.
